- Payment‑related info: we store minimal records required to process and attribute tips/unlocks. Third‑party processors may handle full payment details.
2) Where data lives
- Firebase Realtime Database / Firestore: user data, content metadata, and activity records.
- Firebase Storage: media files (images/videos), thumbnails, previews, processed clips, and configuration JSON files for media settings.
- In your browser: we cache preferences (e.g., theme, view mode, chat background) and some UI state in
localStorageto improve performance and reduce flicker. This stays on your device. - Cookies and similar technologies: we may use cookies or similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, help secure the Service, and understand basic usage patterns.
We operate the Service from the United States, and your information may be stored and processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers maintain facilities.
3) Locked content is a browser overlay
Locked views are a client‑side, performative art overlay intended to discourage casual copying, not a cryptographic protection. Content displayed in your browser can be extracted by sophisticated users. Please consider this when choosing what to upload or view.
4) How we use information
- To operate and improve the Service (e.g., deliver feeds, store and display posts, manage unlocks/payments, and prevent abuse).
- To personalize your experience (e.g., remember theme, feed settings, chat preferences).
- To enforce our Terms and to protect users and the Service.
- To communicate with you about updates, safety, and support.
5) Sharing
- We share data with service providers as necessary to run the Service (e.g., Firebase, payment gateways, analytics where used).
- We may share information to comply with law, prevent harm, or respond to valid legal requests.
- We may share aggregated or de‑identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
- We do not sell your personal information or share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
6) Your choices
- You may update profile details in Settings.
- You can clear local preferences by removing this site’s data in your browser settings.
- You may request account deletion via the in‑app support or the contact method provided in the app.
Depending on where you live (for example, some U.S. states such as California), you may have additional rights over your personal information, such as the right to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your data. You can exercise these rights, where available, by contacting us using the methods described in the Contact section. We may need to verify your request before we respond.
We do not sell your personal information as "sell" is defined under California law, and we do not share your personal information for cross‑context behavioral advertising. If that changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any required notices or choices.
7) Data retention
We retain account data and media for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We may also retain some information to meet legal, security, and operational requirements.
8) Security
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate for a consumer service. However, no online service can be 100% secure. Client‑side overlays are not encryption and cannot guarantee that media cannot be copied.
9) Children
The Service is for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10) Content removal and takedown requests (U.S.)
We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to remove, disable, or limit access to any content in our sole discretion, including where we believe it: (a) violates our Terms or other policies; (b) infringes or may infringe intellectual property or other rights; (c) is unlawful, harmful, or abusive; or (d) is required to be removed by law or by a court or governmental order.
If you are located in the United States and believe that content on the Service is unlawful or infringes your rights, you may submit a takedown request by emailing us at hey@tipblitz.com with: (i) a description of the content; (ii) the URL or other information sufficient to locate it; (iii) your name and contact information; and (iv) a statement that you have a good‑faith belief that the content is unlawful or unauthorized, and that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
If you are a U.S. copyright owner or authorized agent and believe that material on the Service infringes your copyright, your notice should also substantially comply with the requirements of 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3), including an electronic or physical signature, identification of the copyrighted work and the allegedly infringing material, and statements made under penalty of perjury. We may forward your notice (including your contact details) to the user who posted the content and may notify you if we receive a counter‑notification.
We may retain and disclose copies of takedown notices, related correspondence, and our responses as part of our legal and compliance records.
11) Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice (for example, in‑app or on this page). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
